I was born next door to where I live now in a house with way too many animals. They had 3 cats, my mom Paws, my Dad Rush and my Auntie Tonka. My aunt had a litter 4 weeks before I was born so there was a lot of competition for food. Oh.... I was the runt. My human mom always came over to visit to see how I was doing cuz she fell in love with me the day I was born. Convincing my human dad to let me come home with them was another story.

Things started to go downhill and they started keeping me in a cage separated from my mom Paws. I began to get skinnier and skinnier cuz my brothers and sisters hogged all the food. Until one day, my human mom said "no more of this!" and brought me home. When I arrived in my new home I could barely walk, my motor skills were so bad I couldn't even get into the litter box. My human took me to the vet and they couldn’t believe I was 9 weeks old cuz I was the size of a 5 week old.

Well now things start to get much better.... My new human mom loved me and cuddled me and fed me lots of yummy food till I got healthy!! Now I'm in the most purrfect home ever!! I'm still really small but I'm tough, so don't mess with me!!

As of Thanksgiving (2007) we have a new addition to our family. It was 2 days before Thanksgiving and mom & dad went food shopping. As always mom loves to go back to the shelter & play with all the little babies there. Mom has been wanted a new kitty for months but was nervous cause she isn't know how we would react. So mom walks in the shelter and starts looking around. All of a sudden a sweet 7 month old kitty - Mia - runs up to mom. She picks her up and immediately Mia wraps her paws around mom's neck starts hugging and kissing her. Mom just melted, she gave dad this puppy dog eye face hoping he would give in to taken her home. Mom new immediately that she was the perfect cat.

Unfortunately dad did not give in at this time. They went home (sad to leave little Mia) and for the next 2 days mom kept hinting to dad (saying poor little Mia so cute she needs a home). Finally dad said it was ok to bring her home. Mom cashed in all her winning scratch off tickets ($85 the donate! on fee - mom usually saves the winning tickets for emergency money) and was off to the shelter to go get her. Sad to say she wasn't there that day; she was in foster care since she had an upper respiratory infection. They told me to come back the next day and they would bring her.

Mom went back the next morning to get our new sister. And again when she went to pick her up out of her cage she immediately hugged & kissed mom like she new she was going to her new home. Poor little baby, she had such a stuffed up nose; mom had to give her antibiotics twice a day. Now because she was sick, she needed to be separated from us. Luckily mom had one more week off before she went back to work so mom sat with her the whole week why she was sick. But she would let Mia out for a few minutes occasionally so we could be introduced to her. Sad to say we did not like her at first especially my brother Carmine. He now has middle child syndrome. Now we all one big happy family.
